Andy Warhol (1928-1987) is an American artist, printer, and cinematographer. He is one of the founders of the visual art movement Pop Art. He often uses silkscreen printing techniques to reproduce images. Celebrities and familiar things such as Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley are the most common subjects in his works. Repetition is also a major feature of his works.
